DICE have come up with a original way in which the 4th map for BF1943 will be unlocked, instead of based on personal achievement the map will be unlocked when the community as a whole reaches the total of 43,000,000 kills.You can view the trailer for the map in the forum thread.
Eidos has announced that there Montreal studio is about to start work on Thief 4, this is the same studio that is currently working on Deus Ex3. Lets hope they keep this one in the spirit of the original and dont get to carried away trying to change it to how they think console players would like it!
It looks like 3d Realms has finaly bit the dust, things seem to be confusing on the point of Duke Nukem Forever, Take-Two say they still have the publishing rights but havent been funding the development. i also seems that Apogee has been taken out as well which was re-opened recently but looks like its been affected by the parent companys demise as I have just read that Apogees emplys have also been let go.
